1. Agreement
These terms form a binding agreement between you (or the organisation you represent) and Cash King. By creating an account or connecting a third-party service you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
Cash King imports sales invoices from connected accounting systems, presents cash-flow analytics, and sends payment reminders by SMS. The service is provided on a best-efforts basis and may change as features evolve.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Accounts are personal; each user's invoices and message logs are isolated by row level security and are not visible to other users.
4. Xero connection
- You authorise Cash King, through OAuth 2.0, to read the accounting data covered by the scopes you approve. You may revoke that authorisation at any time in the app or in Xero.
- You confirm you are entitled to connect the organisation you select and to share its customer contact data with us for reminder purposes.
- Cash King is not an accounting, tax or financial advisory service. Figures shown are informational and should be reconciled in your accounting system of record.
- Your use of Xero remains governed by your agreement with Xero; we are not responsible for its availability or accuracy.
5. SMS reminders and acceptable use
- Messages are delivered via Twilio. You must have a lawful basis to contact each recipient and must not use the service for marketing, spam or unlawful content.
- You must honour opt-out requests. Replies of STOP are treated as an immediate withdrawal of consent and suppress future messages to that number.
- You are responsible for compliance with messaging laws applicable to you and your recipients, including the TCPA, CAN-SPAM, the Australian Spam Act 2003, the UK PECR and equivalents.
- Delivery is not guaranteed; carrier routing, number validity and local regulations can affect outcomes. Message costs shown in the app are estimates.
- We may suspend messaging where we reasonably suspect abuse, fraud or regulatory risk.
6. Data protection
Our processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. Where we process customer data on your behalf, we act as your processor and follow your documented instructions, applying the security measures described in that policy.
7. Fees
Where the service or SMS usage is charged, fees and any pass-through carrier costs are disclosed before use. Amounts are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise.
8. Intellectual property
We retain all rights in the platform. You retain all rights in your invoice, customer and message data. You grant us a limited licence to process that data solely to provide the service.
9. Warranties and liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including under the Australian Consumer Law. Otherwise our aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid in the twelve months preceding the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
10. Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. On termination we revoke integration tokens and delete or anonymise your data in line with our retention policy.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be notified in-app or by email. Questions: legal@cashking.app.
